Self Portrait

I was overall pleased with my self portrait. The proportions were pretty well accurate and looks balanced on the face. My eye are center on the face correctly, the mouth is lower, the ears are even with the eyes, and my shoulders are realistic. The background was the first task I completed on the artwork and I thought through how I wanted it completed. My values in the piece ranged from a 1 to 10 lightness to darkness. The values bring my face to life and makes it seem realistic. The shadows and details are accurate for my face. The details show the charcteristics for each body part and the shadows give the artwork more values as well.
