Gray Paper

I choose the Taj Mahal for my artwork piece. The composition has a correct balance and the bases are are correctly proportioned as well as height of the bases and the format I choose was landscape it centered my piece very well. The values have both black and white charcoal that do not mix together. The ranges of the piece are from 1 to 10. I planned my worked through a grid system and the grid does not show on my work. The system helped size the photo and the artwork to make them equal with one another. This project also used Da Vinci's 6 parts of light and has a light source established along with highlights and shadows that make the building's character. I was overall pleased with my final artwork and thought it demonstrated the criteria.
